Leif Larson is a Political and Advocacy Manager at CRAFT | Media/Digital.
Leif serves as CRAFT’s Political and Advocacy Manager. In this role, Leif develops strategy and advertising for advocacy and issue campaigns inside the Beltway and across the country. Employing all mediums – television, radio, print and digital – Leif’s work helps inform opinion leaders, persuade voters and influence decision makers.
An award-winning writer and producer with over a decade of experience, Leif has worked to elect candidates to office at all levels of government, overseeing the totality of the creative process from concept to filming and editing to placement. He also has designed messaging and communications’ strategies for a number of high-profile issue campaigns, ranging from tax reduction to medical reform. During his career, Leif has produced and helped place hundreds of print, television and radio production ads for successful campaigns.
Before joining CRAFT, Leif gained valuable experience working for members of Congress, advocacy campaigns, top trade associations and political organizations, including Rep. Patrick McHenry, College Republicans, NRCC, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Society of Anesthesiologists and All Children Matter. His experience includes serving as an assistant press secretary for Governor Pete Wilson of California and in the Santa Barbara district office for Congressman Largomarsino, and on the Hill for Congresswoman Seastrand and Congressman Elton Gallegly.
Leif’s work has been commended by his industry peers, earning several national Pollie awards from the American Association of Political Consultants.
