Hernando Hernandez

Hernando Hernandez brings nearly two decades of experience merging the worlds of technology and design.

Prior to CRAFT, Hernando worked for LMO Advertising, a full-service creative agency in Arlington, VA for five years as an Interactive Art Director. In this role, he oversaw the conceptual, design and development direction of clients’ online advertising, websites, social media and other digital projects. His clients included the Army National Guard, Avis and Budget Rental Cars, the Air National Guard, and the United States Coast Guard, along with LMO’s internal rebranding.

He has designed websites for Dupont, Snap-On Tools, and Kenneth Cole as an Interactive Art Director for iXL, Inc. Hernando has also served as the Art Director for Marriott Hotels International, heading the design and update of websites for several hotel brands under the Marriott umbrella, including The Renaissance, JW Marriott, and The Ritz-Carlton.

Hernando earned his masters at Virginia Tech’s Graduate School of Architecture and completed his undergraduate studies at George Mason University. After pursuing his interest and passion for architecture and completing his graduate studies Hernando worked as an architectural designer for Gensler Architecture and Dynerman Architects, both in Washington DC.
