Michael Turk

Michael Turk is a founder and partner of CRAFT | Media / Digital.
In his professional career, Turk has lived at the intersection of politics, public policy and technology – crossing from the political, to the commercial and into government.
Turk joins Craft | Media/Digital from the National Cable & Telecommunications Association where he served as Vice President of Industry Grassroots for the trade association that represents America’s largest broadband providers.
He has managed Internet operations for three Presidential campaigns – Fred Thompson 2008, Bush-Cheney 04, and Quayle 2000. He served as the Republican National Committee’s first eCampaign Director following the 2004 campaign.
In addition, Turk has managed e-Government projects at the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Energy; and worked with Grassroots Enterprise – an Internet focused public affairs firm – as a technology and activism consultant.
Turk got his start in politics working for the Republican Party of New Mexico. During his tenure, the party grew its ranks in the State House and Senate by more than 70% and reelected the first Governor ever to serve two terms in the state.
